There are 3 vineyards I know of in LA. You? One in Beverly Hills by the 405, one in Irvine, & one in Whittier on the property of the Pio Pico residence. Who knew there were vineyards in LA?! Wow! What climate/micro-climate is right for these vineyards? What did they yield? When? How much output was there? Wine tasting tour? Really-so 150 years ago Pio Pico had a vineyard in Whittier and the grapevines are STILL there?! Yep! How neat is THAT?! : )
